How does microneedling work?

How to use the Dr. Pen M8:
Important:Â Microneedling cartridges must be sterilized before each use to ensure the treatment is safe and hygienic. It is essential to follow these steps carefully to ensure that the microneedling cartridges are properly sterilized. Here are the steps to sterilize microneedling cartridges:
- First, ensure that you have all the necessary equipment for sterilization; gloves, isopropyl alcohol solution (70% or above) and a clean container to hold the solution.
- Put on your gloves to avoid contaminating the cartridges during the sterilization process.
- Check on your cartridge; ensure the needles are in perfect condition (i.e. not bending) and remove any debris.
- Pour enough alcohol solution into the container and dip the cartridge needle into a sterilization container, then soak for a couple of minutes.
- If you have alcohol solution in a spray model, you can spray it towards the needle head of the cartridge.
- Once the sterilization is complete, allow the cartridge to air dry before using it.
- Finally, your cartridge is ready for use.

Ecstatic with this Dr Pen!
Let me start by saying I bought a “genuine” A7 off Ebay about 2 years ago. It was obviously a cheaply made one NOT genuine at all. I actually threw it out as it was so inconsistent & depth varied on its own!
I decided to buy direct from the Dr Pen website as I had heard great things about their product & wanted a genuine Dr Pen that I could rely on.
The packaging is fantastic! Sturdy, moulded plastic storage case.
This pen feels so well built – quite heavy(in a quality way as opposed to a cumbersome way) & my goodness! Does it have some power or what!!??
I got this to promote collagen for my face & also to help scarring on my legs(variable depth is a godsend)
It did all the right things & my skin reacted exactly the way I expected it to.
I have had a derma pen treatment done at a skin clinic at 0.5 before & the difference between the feeling of their own & the M8 is nil.
There is less pain as a result of the finer needles – which is nice.
I used it on my face & scarring on my legs the night I received it & I am already seeing a huge difference in my scars! After one treatment. It hasn’t even been 2 weeks yet!
After using it at a 1.0 on my face, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin texture. And talk about product absorption!!! To know that the right ingredients(Nicinamide, Hyaluronic acid & Matrixyl 3000) were being absorbed straight into the dermis was exactly what I wanted to achieve. I don’t think I’ll ever stop being excited about using this pen. The only issue I’ve had is having to wait to use it again 🤣
I honestly can’t recommend this pen highly enough.
DO NOT BUY OFF EBAY OR ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THE DR PEN WEBSITE! IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
Postage was super, super quick(I was surprised considering Covid had slowed down Australia Post so much) 2 days to get here.
Thank you Dr Pen! My only regret is not buying directly from you the first time. I won’t make that mistake again. I hope my advice saves others from potentially damaging their skin & the Dr Pen reputation by helping people to stay away from EBay etc & non genuine, cheap too off Dr Pens.

Surprised it didn’t hurt more and I only bled on my stretch marks.
So far my skin in smoother but my acne scars are deep so i don’t expect them to entirely disappear in one treatment. My stretch marks already seem a little lighter though.
It was scary at first because I hate needles but once you start it’s easy to keep going.

Brought the new M8 for fine lines and wrinkles, I have used it once and I could tell the difference with my lines, not so deep and noticeable.
You do start peeling which is normal and the needles are very fine that I didn’t need numbing cream.
