These microchannels allow for skincare products to penetrate deeply into the skin, and also trigger the skin\u2019s trauma healing response.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the skin perceives an injury, its response is to produce more collagen and elastin. This is why microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy.
